SUDS the rockin' musical comedy featuring 39 songs from the 60s. Cindy owns a laundromat. It is her birthday. She is dumped by her penpal boyfriend for someone with better penmanship. Her cat is run over by a Corvair. Despondent, she tries to end it all by wrapping a pair of pedal pushers around her neck and sticking her head into a washing machine!! To help her, Heaven sends down two guardian angels, who only manage to make things worse!! Everything is falling apart until heaven finally sends "Johnny Angel" to sort things out.
